Spring 2011 Anime

Agak telat, tapi sepertinya lumayan penting juga untuk melihat list - list anime yang tayang di spring ini. Lumayan banyak judul yang menarik buat diikuti, mulai dari yang sekuel ataupun yang baru. Dan kalau saia sendiri mungkin akan ngikutin anime sebagai berikut :

1. X-MEN
Karya selanjutnya dari kolaborasi Marvel n Madhouse. Dan memang dari dulu saia suka X-Men. Kalau dilihat di gambarnya sih yang keluar cuma Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, n Jean Grey, tapi semoga yang lain juga nongol, khususnya Night Crawler^^.

2. Tiger & Bunny
Judul yang cukup aneh untuk sebuah anime dengan tema superhero. Tapi sepertinya juga bukan cuma anime superhero biasa. [baca: kemungkinan aneh LOL]

3. Nichijou
School life dengan setting yang aneh. Semoga cukup menghibur dan bukan eksploitasi moeblob seperti anime KyoAni sebelum ini *nglirik K-ON!!

4. Hen Zemi
Abnormal...physiology...well that 2 words is enough to pick my interest...And hey...it's genre is comedy...gotta watch it...

5. Showa Monogatari
Sometimes watching drama is good for your mental health...

6. Tono to Issho : Gantai no Yabou
Absolutely will watch this 'sick' parody of sengoku era...

7. Hyouge Mono
Another anime based on sengoku era...i hope there's fansubber who'll sub this...

8. A Channel
One word...Toruu-chan moeee!!! wait...that's not just one word...

9. Denpa Onna to Seisshun Otoko
SHAFT...and it look's interesting...

10. Maria Holic : Alive
Sequel dari anime sebelumnya yang berakhir dengan sangat menggantung. Semoga ga ada cliffhanger lagi nantinya, but well it's SHAFT...they loves to troll...

11. Ao no Exorcist
Adaptasi dari manga, dan saia juga sudah pernah baca manganya. Tema ceritanya mungkin klise tapi tetap menarik buat diikuti.

12. The World God Only Knows 2
Cuma nerusin karena kemarin nonton season 1 nya...

13. [C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control
Judulnya panjang n susah diinget, jadi ambil [C] aja. Temanya menarik, finansial...semoga beneran menarik tanpa bikin pusing^^

14. Deadman Wonderland
Gambarnya kelihatan keren. Sepertinya bakal jadi salah satu anime yang saia nantikan episode barunya di tiap minggu.

Wut? banyak juga ternyata...14...semoga memang masih bisa ngikutin anime2 di atas...orz...

Next Generation Portable

Finally...
Setelah dalam waktu lama Sony membuat orang penasaran dengan penerus dari PSP, pada tanggal 27 kemarin di sebuah private meeting Sony mengumumkan bahwa mereka telah mengembangkan sebuah Next Generation Portable. Yep, NGP adalah penerus dari PSP yang sepertinya akan menjadi sebuah kartu as baru bagi Sony dengan mengusung spesifikasi dan fitur yang bisa dibilang cukup fantastis.

Well, let's just take a look at the spec...
* CPU: ARM® Cortex™-A9 core (4 core)
* GPU: SGX543MP4+
* External Dimensions: Approx. 182.0 x 18.6 x 83.5mm (width x height x depth) (tentative, excludes largest projection)

Benar - benar spesifikasi yang tidak main - main, bahkan bisa dibilang NGP adalah gadget dengan spesifikasi tertinggi dibanding gaming handheld, smart phone, maupun tablet yang ada saat ini. Bahkan fitur yang ada pun menyerupai fitur yang ada di smart phone dan tablet masa kini.

Namun, dibalik spesifikasi dan fitur yang wah tersebut, NGP menyisakan problem yang membuat orang bertanya - tanya dan bahkan akan berpikir ulang untuk membeli mesin ini saat dirilis nanti. Beberapa masalah tersebut antara lain :
1. Daya tahan baterai selama 4-5 jam
Ok...4-5 jam merupakan angka yang lebih besar daripada daya tahan 3DS, tapi 4-5 jam terasa kurang lama untuk sebuah mobile gadget...
2. No change of battery to prevent piracy
Seriously Sony...what are you thinking? okay, i agree that piracy is not good, but you guys don't need to go that far. Ga ada penggantian baterai merupakan hal yang sungguh disayangkan. Bagaimana jadinya kalau NGP kita daya tahan baterainya melemah? apakah kami harus membuang NGP lama kami dan membeli yang baru? sungguh teknik meraih keuntungan yang menyedihkan jika itu yang ada di pikiran Sony. Lagipula piracy masih dapat terjadi tanpa harus membongkar baterai dan menggunakan baterai yang termodifikasi. Tapi kalau Sony tetap mempertahankan tidak adanya penggantian baterai ini semoga mereka setidaknya berbaik hati menyediakan service purna jual yang juga dapat menangani masalah daya tahan baterai yang melemah.
3. Size
Karena membenamkan spesifikasi yang sebegitu besarnya maka ukuran dari NGP juga terbilang besar, hampir menyamai ipad, dan ini kurang nyaman untuk dibawa - bawa.
4.3G Connectivity
You're making a portable game machine Sony...not mobile phone. Lagipula ini juga tampaknya hanya berguna untuk GPS dan Near [fitur menemukan NGP lain yang dekat dengan anda]. Lagipula lagi...layanan ini tidak gratis, masih adakah gamer yang akan membeli NGP jika dia diharuskan membayar lagi perbulannya? semoga saja 3G Connectivity ini bisa dimatikan atau diaktifkan sesuai kehendak pemilik, selain bisa menghemat biaya bisa juga untuk menghemat sedikit daya baterai.
5.Price
Dengan spesifikasi yang begitu tinggi berapakah harga NGP? Sony sih bilang kalau harganya ga akan lebih mahal dari PS3. Dan kalau ingin bersaing dengan 3DS yang dihargai $300 maka harga paling masuk akal adalah di antara $300-$400. Di atas itu NGP tidak akan banyak terjual.
Yah...dengan adanya beberapa masalah tadi saia pun jadi berpikir kembali dan akan banyak mempertimbangkan apakah akan membeli NGP ini saat dirilis nanti, dan tentunya bukan cuma saia, banyak gamer juga akan melakukan hal yang sama. Bagaimanapun juga ini belum final dan Sony masih mempunyai banyak waktu untuk berpikir ulang dan [semoga] memperbaiki masalah - masalah tersebut untuk kebaikan mereka sendiri dan konsumennya....

Recommended Winter 2011 Anime

Well...here comes the list of my own subjective recommended anime for this season. This list made with just my personal impression after watching at least 1 episode of each anime. Actually i don't just watch anime in this list, but i think these anime is good to be recommended to other people will it be otaku, anime fan, or normal people.
Huff...capek juga nulis bahasa Inggris, tulisan selanjutnya berbahasa Indonesia karena saia malas dan kurang percaya diri dengan level bahasa Inggris saia...

1. Level-E

Anime yang sangat menarik kalau menurut saia. Di mana lagi anda bisa menemukan anime berbau sci-fi namun dapat membuat anda ber-wutlol berkali-kali dalam satu episode? bahkan teman saia yang notabene bukan anime fan pun bisa tertawa saat melihat anime ini. Jadi ceritanya bumi kita ini telah dihuni juga oleh alien, yah semacam Men In Black gitu lah. Dan tersebutlah seorang cowok bernama Yukitaka yang baru saja pindah ke apartemen baru di kota yang baru baginya untuk mendapatkan kehidupan SMA yang normal. Tapi sepertinya semua itu ga akan terjadi saat dia menemukan seseorang sudah ada di apartemennya yang mengaku sebagai alien. Bukan hanya itu, alien tersebut rupanya hilang ingatan dan sering berbuat hal konyol yang membuat Yukitaka senewen.

2. Gosick

Gothloli + Detective Mystery...it should be a good combination^^. Tapi sayangnya walaupun bertema detective, kasus yang ada [sejauh ini baru 2 karena memang baru 2 episode yang keluar...obvious -.-'] terkesan gampang ditebak, well...mungkin karena memang cuma episode awal - awal. Yang membuat saia semakin tertarik adalah ~~ke-moe-an~~ ehem...maksud saia tingkah dan ekspresi dari Victorique sang detektif gothloli yang bisa membuat saia tertawa. Sedangkan Kujo Kazuya sendiri tampaknya cocok untuk jadi seorang detective's sidekick semacam Watson walaupun sepertinya akan berkembang menjadi pelindung Victorique...

3. Fractale

Baru satu episode tapi langsung membuat saia terpana dan bertanya - tanya [halah...]. Satu episode belum bisa terlalu menjelaskan apa sebenarnya yag menjadi inti cerita dan tema dari anime ini. yang terjadi cuma seorang cowok menolong gadis misterius yang dikejar - kejar orang misterius di sebuah dunia yang misterius karena tidak jelas apakah itu dunia virtual atau maya [setidaknya gitu di kepala saia], kemudian secara misterius gadis itu pergi dan meninggalkan sebuah benda misterius yang ternyata semacam alat penyimpan data misterius di mana seorang gadis misterius lain muncul secara misterius saat sang cowok mencoba membaca data misterius tersebut...sick of 'misterius' word now aren't you? =w=. Selain ceritanya yang menarik, desain karakter dan animasi Fractale pun bisa dibilang menarik karena tidak menggunakan desain karakter yang berbau moe, walaupun mungkin beberapa orang bakal kecewa karena desainnya jauh beda dengan desain karakter dari light novelnya [lihat gambar di atas, seperti itulah character design di light novel-nya].

4. Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Sebenernya saia bukan penggemar anime mahou shoujo, tapi mahou shoujo ini lain daripada yang lain. Awalnya saia tertarik karena anime ini dikerjakan oleh orang - orang yang sudah cukup terkenal di dunia anime dan dibawahi oleh salah satu studio favorit saia...SHAFT!!! Ceritanya sih ga jauh - jauh beda sama anime mahou shoujo lain, yaitu seorang gadis bernama Madoka yang tiba - tiba didatangi makhluk sihir bernama Kyuubei dan menawarkan kontrak sebagai ~~artis~~ Mahou Shoujo. Tapi ada seorang murid pindahan misterius yang mencegah agar Kyuubei tidak bertemu dengan Madoka. Mungkin yang membedakan anime ini dengan anime mahou shoujo yang lain adalah karena animasi saat masuk magic world atau apalah itu namanya berganti dengan animasi abstract yang cenderung surealis dan bukan animasi 2D seperti umumnya. Selain itu mungkin [mungkin lho...] ceritanya punya potensi ke arah yang gelap, karena pada dasarnya para mahou shoujo di sini bersaing untuk mendapatkan poin dalam membasmi Witch dan nantinya keinginannya bisa terkabul...sounds like Kamen Rider Ryuuki's story...well i hope there's mahou shoujo battle too /gg

Saat iseng - iseng browsing di sebuah forum ga sengaja liat berita yang katanya emang 'agak' santer ini [saia tulis 'agak' krn kayaknya ga santer_bgt atau mungkin jg saia yg ketinggalan berita].

Jadi konon ceritanya, tersebutlah EO yang bernama SoundRhythm, EO yang berhasil mengundang band luar semcam MEW dan NERD untuk konser di Indonesia. Nah, di twittenya @SoundRhythm, mengatakan kalau mereka sedang berusaha untuk mengundang L'Arc~en~Ciel untuk datang juga ke Indonesia, yang katanya juga pihak laruku juga sudah memasukkan Indonesia dalam list world tour mereka untuk tahun depan. Yang agak aneh [menurut saia sih], SoundRhythm meminta setidaknya ada 15.000 RT [retweet bukan Rukun Tetangga] yang menyertakan #LarukuJKT agar laruku beneran datang ke Indonesia [kenapa bkn #LarukuINA?]. Setelah itu dalam twitter mereka lagi, mereka juga bertanya :

Yang mau ditonton yang mana, let us know >> Ryuichi Kawamura (Luna Sea)/MUCC/Girugamesh?

Apakah itu berarti SoundRhythm juga mau mengundang salah satu dari artis - artis di atas? Terus laruku-nya gimana? kenapa ga diperjelas dulu aja?

Yah, saia sendiri sih berharap laruku jadi ke Indonesia, dan setelah itu semoga Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Beat Crusaders, Ellegarden, school food punishment akan bermain ke Indonesia juga, dan mungkin nantinya bisa ada semacam hatsune Miku/Vocaloid concert juga di Indonesia [ngimpi!!!!]

My Little Opinion

Gainax is amazing. Setelah dulu sempat membuat anime gila berjudul FLCL dan juga Abenobashi Mahou Shotengai yang penuh parodi, sekarang mereka kembali dengan anime yang lebih gila lagi dengan judul Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
Dengan style animasi yang mirip dengan Powerpuff Girls, satu hal yang tidak biasa dalam dunia anime Jepang, anime ini sukses menarik perhatian orang. Selain itu anime ini pun dipenuhi komedi dan parodi yang cukup lolwut seperti parodi Transformers dan .... of The Dead. Dan sepertinya Gainax dari awal mempunyai niat untuk membuat Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt ber-taste american [tapi tampaknya ini juga untuk mengolok2 american style], jadi ga heran kalau joke - joke kotor, bahkan sampai xxx, sering keluar.
Intinya, Panty & Stocking with Gaterbel cocok untuk anda yang mencari sedikit hiburan untuk tertawa sesaat melupakan penat dari anime gila nan penuh lolwut dengan catatan anda tidak keberatan dengan joke kotor yang berseliweran dan menganggapnya sebagai humor belaka.

There and Back Again

Kayaknya udah lama juga blog ga guna ini terbengkalai...
males ngurus...males nulis...ga ada waktu...

Tapi ga tau kenapa tiba - tiba aja pengen nulis sesuatu. Yah, sebenernya dalam rentang waktu yang cukup lama dari post terakhir banyak hal yang cukup menarik yang bisa ditulis di sini. Mulai dari anime fall season yang cukup menjanjikan kayak Panty & Stocking with Gaterbelt, TV series Amerika terbaru yang bertema zombie/survival horror berjudul The Walking Dead, Hatsune Miku yang makin mendunia, beberapa despair, sampai HelloFest7 minggu kemarin yang cukup menyenangkan walaupun terjadi beberapa tragedi and unfortunately i can't take many photo of that even. sebenernya pengen jabarin satu - satu, tapi nanti jadinya panjang_bgt [alasan sebenarnya karena males].
Well, kayaknya mungkin saia akan tetep posting dalam beberapa waktu, walaupun kayaknya susah buat bikin review apalagi complete review...tapi yah...[maybe] i'll do my best...
Btw, buat yang kebetulan punya nasib jelek n nyasar di blog ini terus baca tulisan ini, ada yang minat buat cosplay Zeon Officer like Char Aznable and such [Gundam] ga? buat tahun depan sih sebenernya, tapi siapa tahu bisa dipersiapkan dari sekarang^^.

Summer 2010 Anime Recap

Summer has come and passed...
Akhirnya summer 2010 selesai juga, walaupun ga banyak anime yang saia ikuti season kemarin, tapi summer kali ini bisa dibilang cukup menarik. N enough with the chit - chat, inilah rekap dan kesan dari beberapa anime yang saia ikuti season kemarin...

Highschool Of The Dead

Zombie + Girls + Gun. Sepertinya formula tersebut sekarang sudah menjadi tren di dunia hiburan. Untuk anime yang diadaptasi dari manga ini sendiri, formula itu tampaknya berhasil [bahkan masih ditambah fan-service]. Walaupun saia sendiri kurang menyukai fan-service, namun aspek lainnya masih bisa saya nikmati. Dan karena manga-nya belum tamat, maka anime ini pun dibuat dengan ending yang menggantung, tapi memang pada dasarnya anime ini terlalu singkat, hanya 13 episode. Season 2? maybe...

Shiki

Mystery. Satu lagi anime yang bertema mayat hidup, namun bukan zombie melainkan vampire. Walaupun mempunyai tema yang sama denga H.O.T.D., anime ini tidak menyuguhkan action seperti H.O.T.D. Anime ini [sampai saat saia nonton, karena belum tamat] lebih condong ke arah misteri dan horor. Misteri inilah yang menurut saia menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi anime ini. Para pembuatnya mampu membangun atmosfer misteri dan horor dengan baik, bahkan saia sempat merinding saat menonton anime ini sendirian saat sepi. Terlebih lagi Shiki selalu memberi pertanyaan dan misteri baru serta rasa penasaran kepada penontonnya di setiap akhir episodenya....

Ookami-san to Shichi-nin Nakama-tachi

Kuraaaang!!!!. Sayang sekali, anime yang menurut saya sangat menarik dan menghibur ini tamat dengan sesuatu yang anti-klimaks. Namun, ending-nya sendiri cukup bagus, di episode terakhir penonton disuguhi dengan bagaimana sebenarnya sedikit pandangan maupun perasaan Ookami terhadap Ryoushi. Dan beberapa orang mengatakan seharusnya episode terkahir itu diberi porsi 2 episode sehingga cerita dapat berjalan dengan lebih dramatis dan mengena. Saya sendiri salut dengan, Masashi Okita-sensei, penulis versi light novel dari anime ini yang bisa membuat cerita romantis sekaligus lucu, dan menggunakan referensi dari dongeng - dongeng terkenal, walau beberapa dongeng terkesan hanya numpang lewat. J.C.Staff juga saia akui cukup bagus dalam mengerjakan anime ini sehingga dapat menampilkan momen - momen menarik di beberapa episode-nya. dan semoga mereka berbaik hati untuk membuat season 2 untuk anime ini...

Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin

Occult is a bit dissapointing.Ternyata banyak juga yang bilang kayak gitu karena bagian tengah sampai akhir anime ini terasa kurang menarik dan terkesan hanya mengejar ending. patut disayangkan, karena sebenarnya Occult Academy berpotensi menjadi anime yang bakal diingat setidaknya lebih dari satu tahun. Tetapi akhirnya anime yang dimulai dengan spektakuler, diikuti dengan episode - episode yang biasa, dan akhirnya berakhir dengan akhir yang kurang berkesan.

Sengoku Basara 2

Cool ni ikouze!! Yay, Sengoku Basara yang ke-2 ini lebih keren daripada yang pertama. Selain adegan battle yang lebih normal [walaupun masih aja banyak yang lebay], story-nya pun lebih bagus dan berisi. Awalnya saia kira di sequel ini Maeda Keiji akan mendapat porsi terbesar, tapi malah akhirnya Date Masamune yang sepertinya mendapat sorotan serta paling mencolok dalam soal perkembangan karakternya. Singkat kata, saia puas dengan anime ke-2 dari game favorit saia ini. Dan konon kabarnya akan ada movie yang mengikuti...

Personal Comment:
Sebenarnya saia ga ada niatan buat nonton film ini. Cuma karena saia ga ada kegiatan dan diajak nonton ya saya nonton aja...
Dan seperti yang sudah saia duga, saia susah untuk menikmati film yang menyuguhkan adegan action dan ledakan hampir di sepanjang film ini. Sebenarnya adegan action di film ini bagus, namun sayangnya penggunaan slow motion yang berlebihan malah membuat adegan - adegan tersebut kurang seru [bagi saia krn slow motion itu udah agak kuno menurut saia] dan alhasil terkesan ikut - ikut The Matrix.
Yang benar - benar membuat saya kecewa di sini adalah plot film yang sudah terlalu jauh dari plot game-nya. Extinction aja dah jauh apalagi ini, dan hanya film pertama dan ke-2 yang bisa dibilang masih mengikuti plot. Bahkan Chris yang seharusnya adalah tokoh sentral dalam game-nya pun terkesan hanya jadi pelengkap di sini. Tapi at least, di scene terakhir muncul Jill Valentine yang dikendalikan oleh Umbrella/Wesker seperti yang terjadi di Resident Evil 5 [game], dan kalau dilihat dari situ tampaknya film ini akan mendapat sequel yang ke-6...
Saia sendiri ga bisa ngebayangin gimana besok kl yang ke-6 beneran dibikin, bakal jadi seperti apalagi, apakah akan jadi film full action tentang Alice vs Umbrella yang kalau itu terjadi maka akan benar - benar membuang inti cerita asli dari Resident Evil [game] yaitu zombie, virus, n bio-terorism...

PSP...oh...PSP

Judulnya lebay ya?
Tapi memang seperti itu perasaan saia kepada handheld console yg satu ini. Padahal dulu saia tidak begitu tertarik sama PSP, paling cuma 'keren jg...bsk beli ah kl ad rejeki...'. Tapi sekarang, giliran udah bener2 pengen punya harganya malah menggila segila-gilanya. Yang terakhir saia tau, harganya udah menembus 3 jutaan. Katanya sih gara2 yg hack-able/yg pake firmware lama udah ga ada lagi n bener2 langka. Sebenernya bisa sih beli yg second dg harga yg lebih terjangkau, tp yg jual second sekarang jg udah ketularan gila, udah mulai jual di harga 2jt ke atas padahal mungkin mereka beli di harga yg lebih murah.

Ato mending saia nekat beli yg pake firmware terbaru aja ya? Biarin deh cuma bisa maen game original pake UMD, kan sekalian biar bisa mendukung para publisher game sekaligus memerangi piracy dengan kosekuensi mungkin saia harus puasa nantinya kalo beli game2 PSP. Tapi menurut berita terakhir yg saia denger katanya udah ada yg exploit firmware terbarunya, n rumor laen malah bilang kalo developer Mortal Kombat udah megang PSP2...
Kusoooooooooooo... makin bingung jadinya saia....

Film ini saia tonton waktu itu cm asal pilih, abis dr kampus diajak nntn tp ga tau mau nntn apa, akhirnya milih film ini. Jadinya ya ga berharap apa2 dr film yg setau saia cm remake dr serial tahun 80'an dan saia sbenernya agak males nntn film action...
Tp bbrp menit awal film ini ternyata cukup menghibur. Adegan action yg keren, rencana2 Hannibal yg brilian, dan tak lupa beberapa adegan lucu yang memmbuat saia bersama teman2 bs tertawa lepas praktis membuat saia bs menikmati film ini sampai akhir. Yah, intinya saia sangat puas nntn film ini walaupun cm krn random pick di bisokop, atau mgkn jg krn awalnya saia ga menaruh ekspetasi apapun jadi saia bs menikmatinya tanpa kebanyakan mikir...
Direkomendasikan utk org yg sedang mencari film action ringan yg menghibur...

GAIKING Remake

Satu lagi kabar datang dari TAF 2010, yaitu tentang proyek terbaru dari TOEI Animation. Pada event tersebut, TOEI menayangkan trailer dari versi remake GAIKING, anime super robot tahun 70'an dan pernah juga di-remake pada tahun 2005 kemarin. Pada remake yang baru ini, TOEI menggunakan CGI, sehingga GAIKING akan tampil dalam format 3D bukan 2D seperti pada pendahulunya. Dari teaser yang ada, sepertinya juga terjadi perubahan pada desain GAIKING sendiri yang menjadikannya terlihat lebih canggih dan berkesan futuristik walaupun masih mempertahankan bentuk aslinya.

Pada Tokyo International Anime Fair, tepatnya pada hari Jumat kemarin, Anime Innovation Tokyo (AIT) production mengumumkan bahwa mereka saat ini sedang memproduksi sebuah anime series terbaru yang berjudul Kihei Senki Legacies. Anime mecha sepanjang 52 episode ini ditangani oleh orang - orang yang sudah tidak perlu ditanyakan lagi kualitasnya. Shin Kobayashi (Bloody Monday, Kindaichi Case File) bertanggung jawab sebagai penulis cerita. Untuk masalah desain mecha, AIT mempercayakan anime ini pada Kunio Okawara (Mobile Suit Gundam, Armored Trooper Votoms, Yatterman), orang yang tidak asing lagi dalam dunia mecha, dan untuk urusan desain karakter anime ini ditangani oleh Daisuke Nakayama (Tweeny Witches).

The Story:
Cerita anime ini berseting di Kissyo City, sebuah kota yang memiliki atmosfer aneh. Kota ini adalah salah satu dari 'Oasis District' yang tersebar di dunia yang hancur karena dampak dari perang yang terjadi pada abad sebelumnya. Di masa peperangan tersebut, banyak robot berukuran besar yang dibuat tentu saja untuk senjata. Namun kini hanya tersisa robot - robot kecil maupun yang telah dikustomisasi. Robot - robot dari masa perang ini disebut Legacies.
Kissyo City yang sebelumnya tenang, tiba - tiba menjadi sasaran kelompok bersenjata yang mencoba mencuri sumber daya sekaligus 'rahasia' dari kota ini. Simone, sang walikota dan juga komandan dari pasukan pertahanan kota, menyewa 5 orang pengembara yang dapat mengendalikan Legacies untuk mempertahankan kotanya. Bersama - sama mereka memutuskan untuk menyerang balik menggunakan kartu as mereka Ω99 (Omega Double Nine), sebuah robot militer unik yang telah terbengkalai cukup lama. Dengan menggunakan 'pikiran' mereka, robot ini memilih sendiri orang yang akan mengendalikan mereka. Hanya orang yang bisa bersinkronisasi dengan robot ini yang bisa mengendalikannya, dan pilot robot ini disebut dengan Synchronizer. Ω99 sendiri adalah robot yang paling sulit dikendalikan, perlu keahlian yang sangat tinggi untuk bisa mengoperasikan robot ini dengan baik. Ω99, harapan terakhir dari pasukan pertahanan memilih Yamato, seorang anak laki - laki biasa saja yang tidak tahu bahwa bahaya sedang mengancam tempat tinggalnya dan keahliannya hanya bermain game, sebagai Synchronizer-nya.

Many HG and Robot Damashii release, n it's just Musha Gundam Mk-II for the MG. Though this Musha Gundam Mk-II looks nice I still don't want to add it too my list, 6,300 Yen is a high price for me. Still hoping for Cherudim Saga to be released in 1/100 scale plamo not Robot Damashii or G.F.F. [i hope Bandai read this^^]. The one that picks my interest in this edition is S.I.C. Kamen Stronger, it looks so cool n Stronger is one of my favorite Kamen Rider, I'll surely buy it if I have money. Figma BRS is good too, especially the Rock Cannon, I just love big and flashy weapon like that^^.

Based on the manga with the same title, and also it has been released in Indonesia. Very good story though there's some 'scary' picture in the manga...

House of Five Leaves
Another anime that based on the Edo period in this season. I like the artwork, hoping a good story with katana and also blood^^

Yojo-han Shinwa Taikei
The artwork reminds me of the artwork of the Asian Kung-fu Generation's album or single cover. Slice of life story...hope this will be an epic anime....

Wow...so the Phantom Thief have his own anime title this season, maybe he can steal the attention from the Meitantei Conan fans out there...

Dulu saia pernah bercanda soal kelas di atas Perfect Grade pd gunpla yaitu Real Grade. Yang dalam pemikiran saia Real Grade it grade dewa yang super detail dan mungkin malah menjadi Gundam asli. Dan ternyata nemu post ini di blog orang...

1/144 Real Grade Gundam RX-78-2 yg bakal dirilis oleh Bandai pd bulan Juli dg harga sekitar 2,625 yen...
Real Grade...tapi kok cuma 1/144 ya? kenapa tidak dipakai untuk yg versi 1/48 kemarin?
Konon kabarnya, model Real Grade ini akan dibuat dengan artikulasi sendi yang bahkan lebih baik daripada Master Grade maupun Perfect Grade dg memanfaatkan parts yang sesedikit mungkin. Tapi, sepertinya bagian luarnya akan dibuat semirip mungkin dengan aslinya dengan memanfaatkan decal yang lebih realistik.
Well, mungkin ini sebuah revolusi br dlm dunia gunpla atau mungkin juga sebuah cara baru bagi Bandai utk mengeruk keuntungan^^.

Ramen....

Bukan, saia ga bahas masalah ramen, cuma sharing aja karena ga sengaja nemu satu warung ramen yang bisa dibilang enak di Jogja. Tepatnya di Jl. Wahid Hasyim kalo ga salah (kl dr nologaten, terus ke utara nyebrang selokann mataram nyampe hampir ring road). Namanya sendiri Hikari Ramen (ini jg kl ga slh), warungnya sih kecil n tampak ga meyakinkan, ga kyk warung2 ramen lain yg ada di Jogja, mungkin saia juga ga akan tahu kalau di tempat itu jual ramen kalau ga ada neon bertuliskan 'Ramen' di depannya. Tempat ini memang katanya bukan tempat baru juga, sudah lumayan lama tapi baru aja masang neon petunjuknya itu, n kyknya jg memang ga pernah iklan ato ikut buka stand di j-fest kyk warung lain.

Sebenarnya, warung [ato restoran ya?] ini ga cuma menyediakan ramen sebagai menu utamanya, ada juga makanan Jepang lain macam Teriyaki, Tempura, n Katsu Don, dan katanya lagi menu di sini bakal ditambah lagi. Ramennya sendiri juga terdiri dr beberapa varian, antara lain Gyu Soyu Ramen, Katsu Ramen, Kaira Ramen, Kimuchi Ramen, n lain2 [lupa^^]. Dari segi harga bisa dibilang kalau harga ramen di warung ini lumayan mahal, sekitar 10k - 15k per porsi, dengan takaran satu porsinya hanya sebanyak satu porsi ramen di Nikkou Ramen yg kisaran harga per porsinya lebih murah. Tapi menurut saia sendiri, dan teman saia yg td makan ramen jg, harganya cukup masuk akal untuk ramen yang dari segi bumbunya lebih terasa daripada ramen2 di tempat lain. Yep, soyu maupun miso yang jadi kuah ramen benar2 terasa [setidaknya saya belum merasakan soyu yang seasin it di temapt lain] dan saia tidak merasa perlu menambahkan red pepper ke dlm ramen seperti yg biasa saia lakukan di warung ramen lain. Selain it, bahan pelengkap ramen seperti Katsu di Katsu Ramen n daging sapi di Gyu Soyu Ramen jg terasa enak di mulut saia [sempat nyesel knp ga beli yg Katsu Ramen aj].
Ok...enough with the ramen, lagian saia jg bkn wartawan kuliner, jd mgkn saia jg slh dlm memberikan penilaian. Sbenernya yg bikin saia sdikit senang dg warung ini adlh krn warung ini msh bs terbilang sepi pengunjung tp pny tempat yg sepertinya mampu menampung sebuah komunitas kecil. Yah, tiba2 saja saia dan teman saia td jd berpikiran utk menjadikan warung ini sbg tempat makan rutin sekaligus sbg tempat gathering komunitas kami.

Beck Live Action Movie

Mungkin ini bukan berita baru lagi bahwa manga karangan Harold Sakuishi yang juga pernah dibuat anime-nya akan diadaptasi dalam bentuk live action ke layar lebar. Dan menurut Eiga.com , Beck akan premier pada tanggal 4 September 2010. Dan beberapa pemeran untuk film ini antara lain :

Hiro Mizushima sebagai Ryusuke Minami
Takeru Satoh sebagai Koyuki
Kenta Kiritani sebagai Chiba
Aoi Nakamura sebagai Yuji Sakurai
Osamu Mukai sebagai Taira

Sampai sekarang tampaknya hanya pemeran member Beck saja yang sudah diumumkan, tetapi sebenarnya ada juga gambar dari pemeran Maho, cuma sayang tulisannya memakai Kanji dan saia tidak bisa baca Kanji T-T, jadi ga tau siapa nama asli pemerannya. Dari deretan cast di atas juga yang saia tahu cuma Hiro Mizushima yang pernah berperan sebagai Tendou Souji di Kamen Rider Kabuto, dan menurut saia dia cukup pantas untuk berperan sebagai Ryusuke. Pemeran Koyuki sendiri kalo menurut saia agak kurang cocok, kurang culun soalnya^^.

Story

In the sequel, Hei and Yin are now on the run after betraying the Syndicate in the previous season. After leaving Japan, Hei encounters Suou Pavlichenko, a 13 year old Eurasian girl who becomes embroiled in the war and politics of the various factions and Contractors vying for power. Meanwhile, Hell's Gate remains standing in Tokyo, after Hei's efforts to stop the Saturn Ring anti-Gate particle weapon from activating. Although Contractors are safe from the danger of having their existences erased, this does not prevent new and old Contractors from abusing their powers. As Misaki Kirihara and her team in the Public Security Bureau deal with the increasing Contractor cases, she also has to keep the Syndicate at bay, who has major positions in the Japanese police and intelligence bureaus around the world. The storyline setting primarily takes place in both Japan and Russia.

This is a sequel from the first anime (Darker Than Black : Kuro no Keiyakusha) but it doesn't seems like a direct continuation of the first series. And maybe for some people, the main character of this sequel is not Hei anymore. You can say that Suou is the center of the story at first. The story itself is more to the point with a fast flow compared to the first series. But, in the end, the story backs again to Hei and Yin as it's center (maybe you can add Mao, Misaki, and The Syndicate too^^).

I'll not going to give any spoiler bout the ending. But i can say that the 12 episode can wrap this arc nicely. Yep, it's just an arc, part of the story, it looks like there's going to be another season of Darker Than Black, or maybe a movie or an OVA. Because the ending still leaves us with some question and some hint about what will happens next.

Well, once again, there's another anime which gives us another question and another hope of the next season.

Gundam 00 Movie [Mobile Suit protoype picture]

Just found this picture this morning, and I thought I must post this. Maybe it's still prototype, but it's has more details than the picture before. Too bad it's just in black and white, not the actual color.

From the picture, I can say that 00 Quanta has the coolest design. Though it's still looks like Exia or 00. I think i'll buy the model kit if it's come out in 1/00 scale. I hope it'll come out as MG in the first release, without another revision or repair model kit comes out later like Exia or the damned Astray seires...

I disappointed when I saw the design of Zabaniya, I hope it's cooler or at least as cool as Dynames, but it turns out to be that ugly. Whats up with that big things in the left and rigt lower parts? A missile launcher? It looks so lame....

Harut...looks somewhat cool, but the back parts looks so crowded. Well, I can say anything more about transformable Gundam...

I thought that Tieria will have another big fat Gundam again in this movie. This Raphael kinda looks like Seraphim with big attachment in the shoulder (well, Tieria still get a big thing^^).

I don't really know whether it's the final design or not. And I hope the design of Graham's Super Flag (if what they said is true) will come out soon. In the end, we can just wait for the movie in 2010 along with the Gundam UC.

MG Astray Red Frame?

Well, just read it in some blogs...it is said that Bandai will release MG Astray Red Frame Kai next February.
There's not much info about this model kit, i still don't know what that 'Kai' means. Maybe it's a 2nd revise like Blue Frame or maybe it's like an additional equipment.
Whatever it is, I just can wait and see while saving up my money. And i hope they will not release another my favorite gundam model kit in the same month....

Addicted

Yep, it's a picture of a brain. And it shows the affected area of someone's brain who get addicted to online game (right) and someone's brain who get addicted to drugs (left).

It's a little shocking for me cause I used to be an online game addict before. And by seeing this picture now i understand how dangerous online game can be. It's not just drain your money (yeah, I spent a lot of money because online game), but also can ruin your life.
I think those online game freaks should receive the same medication and rehabilitation with those junkies. And maybe someday, an addiction to online game is considered as a mental illness....

Fansubbing is Fun(?)

Well, maybe someone from fan-sub group will disagree with my title. I just learn how to sub last week, n i found it quite fun tough it can makes your eyes and ears (and maybe your body and soul) so tired.
Okay, I'm not really doing fan-sub, I just add a lyric and karaoke effect in a PV. First time, i try to work on SID's Uso but I didn't finish it yet coz what the PV that I have is in bad quality. So I just drop it for a while and change to supercell's Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari.

IMO, adding lyrics in a PV is just a piece of cake. You don't have to write down the dialogue and time, and you don't have to translate anything. Just write the lyric and place it at the correct time slot.
The real deal is when you try to add the karaoke effect. You must split those words in the lyrics and search the right time for that words. In my case, this activity really tires me up. I have to see the audio line (or whatever it's called) and carefully listen to the song just to make sure the words don't overlap with each others.
From doing this, now I know that fansubbing is a hard thing to do. Some says that fansubber is someone who don't have life. Well, maybe that quotes right, they must listen carefully to the dialogue in an anime/movie, then translate it, write down the translation, do the timing, and check it. What a tiring activity and I'm sure it takes a lot of time. I just can't imagine how the fansubber/fansub team with high speed release works, even sometimes their translation is not 100% correct.
Well, now i just think that unfair for us, anime fans, to ask them for a speed release. And slow release doesn't mean that a fansubber/fansub team is lazy, maybe they just to do it carefully to get a best result. So, let's support the fansubber/fansub team, not ask them for an impossible thing like high speed release with 100% correct translation....

Kamen Rider Decade ~Kanketsuhen~

The official title for the final movie of the infamous series Kamen Rider Decade has been revealed together with the title for the movie of Kamen Rider Double. The title for the final movie of Kamen Rider Decade is Kamen Rider Decade ~Kanketsuhen~. The timeline for this movie is, of course, after the final episode of the TV series. Rider Daisen or Rider Big War had already happened and both Tsukasa and Yuusuke have disappeared from Natsumi’s sight. Kaitou Daiki then appeared in front of Natsumi and she began a new journey to find Tsukasa and Yuusuke.

The world they were going to visit was being symbolized by the background roll of Earth.On the other hand, Tsukasa met another heroine on his journey. Her name was Misaki Yuriko. She had the ability to transform into Denpa Ningen Tackle (I think most of the fans of this franchise will immediately realize that she was a character appeared in the series Kamen Rider Stronger back in 1975). Yuriko said that she was happy because she could stay right next Tsukasa but she also had a secret…

A new evil organization, Super Shocker, will become Decade’s enemy. Super Shocker itself was being formed by Super Shinigami-hakase. Surprisingly, Narutaki was also an executive from this evil organization. His true form was Zol-taisa (from the original Kamen Rider series). Some of the monsters which will appear in this movie are: Zanjiou, Jaguar-man , Doku-tokage Otoko, and Hiruchameleon. There will also be a female monster, Hachi-onna, which will be portrayed by Oikawa Nao. Super Shinigami-hakase himself created the strongest kaijin, Neo Seimeitai Doras, to fight Decade.

As expected, after using Kivaara’s power, Natsumi finally transformed into Kamen Rider Kivaara to stop Decade from destroying the worlds. Ah, seems like a new card, All Rider Final Form Ride is going to be used in this movie.

The scenario for this movie is written by script-writer Yonemura Shoji who also wrote the scenario for the first movie of Decade. On the other hand, the scenario for the movie Kamen Rider W ~Begin’s Night~ is written by the main script-writer for the TV series, Sanjo Riku. The theme song for this movie of Decade is once again performed by Gackt. The title is Stay the Decade Alive.

Final Fantasy XIII

At first I didn’t care bout PS 3 or even Final Fantasy XIII. But, when is saw the final trailer of Final Fantasy XIII my mind change. “I need to play it...I want PS 3!!!”, that’s what I thought when I saw that trailer which shows beautiful CG movie with a lovely song as it’s soundtrack.

The CG is indeed beautiful but at some points, some CG that being shown in the trailer has different quality. But it does still have a good detail for the characters also for the backgrounds. For the trailer it seems that Final Fantasy XIII have a good storyline such as romance (someone said to me that this is the important element for every Final Fantasy stories), friendship, and also betrayal.

flashy battle...

Final Fantasy XIII will have another new battle system in Final Fantasy history. In Final Fantasy XIII, the battle system looks somewhat similar to The Last Remnant’s battle system, with many flashy combo as it shown on the trailer. Well, maybe SquareEnix will use that battle system as a new standard for their RPG.
And it looks like SquareEnix still maintain traditional element of Final fantasy such as chocobo (the trailer shows Lightning ride a chocobo across the beautifuly drawn world map and also a little chocobo that looks like a character’s pet) and also summon or espers, don’t know what they will call it in this series. But, it seems, the summoning system will be a little different from previous series, and maybe each character will have their own summon.
Well, maybe Final Fantasy XIII that will be released this month in Japan is really will be a great game that must be played not only by Final Fantasy fans but also every gamer out there. And I just can hope Santa Clause would come to my house and give me PS 3 with this game as a Christmas’s present for me. Haha, as if it’s gonna happens, well maybe a wish for SquareEnix to release PC version of Final Fantasy XIII is more rational^^.

This is a single that used for Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack. But, maybe it’s not official yet, because as far as I know, the official soundtrack of an anime or game will use graphic or character from that game or anime for its cover.
The first track, is really a nice song, it fits to be a soundtrack for Final Fantasy XIII. It’s so easy listening and catchy. The second track also a nice song but not as catchy as the first track, well maybe it’s because I have heard Kimi ga Iru Kara before I listen to this single. The third track is a Christmas song, it’s obvious when you read the title, not an energetic Christmas song like Jingle Bells but still a slow but nice song like the other tracks, and you sure can add it to your playlist in the music player for the upcoming Christmas.

Astray Blues

Nope...it's not music...and yes if think Astray is a Gundam...
This title just pop out of my head when i think bout 1/100 MG Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise (phew...what a long name...) that i want but it looks like i don't have enough money to spent on it.

Well, that's just one thing of many things that keeps flowing up in my head for now. I have many things to think about even i have already GARduated. But, i think i'll let it flow like always.
By the way, i have 2 new posts, 1 article about an album that becomes my must play list in my music player. And the other one is my first self made story, actually i have posted it once, but i deleted it because it makes the layout of my blog looks like a scramble egg. Thanks for my friend, Shinrue, who gave me the advice to correct it so it can be look normal like now...
For the next project, maybe i'll write about my 1/100 Avalanche Exia or EVA-05 (i wan't to sell it to buy the Astray...), review of 9, and some self made stories or fanfics.

As you can see in the track list, maybe you are familiar with some title in there. This is not a compilation album, but it’s a cover album by Marie Digby. So, who is she? Maybe it’s a little strange to hear someone with western name to make a cover version of japanese songs.

Marie Digby, whose mother is Japanese and father is Irish American , is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist. She is known for her acoustic cover version of “Umbrella”, which attracted attention on YouTube in 2007. And she has released 3 studio album up until now, including this Second Home album, which is her first and the only one album in the japanese language.

Back to the album, all track in this album is so easy listening, even for the song which you never hear the original song before. She can make a new color to song that she covers in this album. My favorites and also recommended song are Gravity, Cherry, Kimi to Iu Hana, and Banzai ~Suki de Yokatta~.

Akaboshi

The Story
It is 1112, the middle kingdom (China) is in turmoil with the present Sung dynasty's government unable to control its own provincial officials from preying on their people. But tales of a band of outlaws punishing these abusive officers called "Taiten Gyoudou" is spreading. Their deeds are giving people hope, so begins an encounter between Suiren, a young village girl believing in the bandits, and "Falling Star" Tai Sou, a traveling swordsman and also a member of Taiten Gyoudou whose skill precedes him.

In My Opinion
Maybe one thing and the only thing that attracts me so i’m interested to read this manga is the Suikoden things. You can say that i’m a suikoden-tard, because i’m so into suikoden series especially the game translation by Konami even it didn’t use the original stroy of Suikoden. Suikoden (or Shui Hu Zhuan in Chinese) itself is a classic literature from China like Romance of Three Kingdom and have been translated to many formats. I think it’s enough with the Suikoden things, and we’ll move to Akaboshi, the manga that i want to review.

I think this manga is an interesting manga and if you liked One Piece or Bleach maybe you’ll like this one too. Amano Yoichi-sensei, the man behind this manga is brilliantly translating Suikoden into an interesting brand new story of Suikoden. The character design of this manga is good or maybe you can call it excelent, it must be hard for the mangaka to create 108 (if he really creates all of the 108 Stars of Destiny) or more. The character that appeared so far is unique from how each of it looks to their personality. But, sometimes the artworks in this manga looks crowded though it’s still nice for my eyes^^. And once again, i recommend this manga for you who loves action, fantasy, and nice humors.

The Bad Begining

This is how my despair start...
Yeah, i just want to try blogging cause now i have more free time. And with this blog, i also want to realize any idea that crossed my mind. I think i need to realize it or just write about my idea because wiseman says "keeping your feeling without express it is bad for health"^^.

There's many more reasons that encourage me to create this blog, such as:

Yeah, i can say it like that even i'm in despair. Lately i've met with so many interesting persons and doing so many interesting things. On top of that somethings that i only long and imagine for a long time comes to real (it's not 100% (yet) but i admit that i'm so happy).
2. I want to share my mind and my little knowledge
After i found another definition of otaku-ism, i think i must do the same thing with other people that i respect like Danny Choo, AOI members, and also my friends in J-Topia.
3. Blogging becomes a trend in a certain forum
You can say that i just blindly following other's activity. But, i did this to search for things that i really want to do and also for things that i must do...
4. I want to improve my english
My english is getting worse, so i must improve it for my future. I don't want to be 'sok british' or else, maybe if you're my friend and ever chat with me, you'll realize that i tried to use english for each conversation. So i'll write with english too, though my english is still far away from good (especially my grammar...). But, some of my posts will use bahasa indonesia.
Maybe just that, or maybe there's more reasons but i don't know what it is...

So, what will i write in this blog?
Like i write in the description of my profile, i'll write about my own despair life, previewing or reviewing anime, manga, or game and any other activities that i've done.
So this is my introduction, i hope that this blog will be useful for the readers and for any random person who brought by fate to see this misserable blog...
